Description
The land bank at Newball is situated around 6 miles North of the Historical City of Lincoln and 4 miles South West of Wragby in Lincolnshire. The site sits amongst ancient woodlands and rural open countryside neighbouring the Barlings Eau river. The site was chosen to enhance and create off-site BNG units across 1.38 hectares. The habitats will include a multi species rich grassland and mixed scrub which will allow the adjacent ancient woodland to encroach into this area. It will also include the planting of native English trees along with introducing species rich native hedgerows with trees and enhancement of the existing hedgerows. In September 2026, the site was legally secured with a S106 agreement (Planning reference WL/2025/01124) with Lincolnshire County Council who were in favour of expanding the amount of biodiversity within the central Lincolnshire vale as part of their core habitat profiles. The site is listed on natural England BNG register and as such are available for sale with immediate effect. The area can assist developers by providing strong BNG units but will also support a wider range of benefits: i.) The support of enlarging the counties ancient woodland footprint ii.) Providing a sustainable mosaic grassland supporting a rich ecosystem for decades to come. iii.) Enhancing the character of the local area. The listing is now live and we are reserving units. Bespoke solutions ranging from 0.1 units + are welcomed and can be accommodated so please contact us to discuss your needs and requirements. There is no minimum order quantity below 0.1 of a unit and therefore we can sell part credits.
