Located within the Surrey Hills AONB and Guildford Council's first habitat bank, the scheme aims to provides a mix of medium and high distinctiveness habitats such as Lowland Mixed Deciduous Woodland and Lowland Calcareous Grassland. Managing and maintaining high quality habitats are central to Hampton's ethos - integrated grazing with the Estates pedigree Sussex beef herd will allow a mix of species to thrive in the grassland. Hampton Estate provides an array of leisure and commercial space on the site, meaning the local community can actively experience the tangible impacts the habitat improvements will bring.
